Mountain View Pork is an independent, family-owned farm that raises Heritage breed hogs. These animals are antibiotic-free and are humanely raised in an open space environment. Our family takes pride in dedicating our time to the proper animal husbandry practices, as well as creating a genetically superior product. A happy, healthy hog makes for a good pork chop. Our Pigs
Our family raises Berkshire pigs with Duroc and Yorkshire influences. This hybrid cross has proven its meat quality with a high marbling content and dark pink-hued color. Our herd has developed over the years with selective breeding and a change of goals within our operation. We raise pigs to produce pork. Our mission is to create an outstanding experience for our fellow pork consumers.
Heritage pigs are breeds that contain supreme marbling in their meat, resulting in tender juicy cuts with prominent flavor. Berkshire pigs come from unique culinary traditions and have become well-known for their meat quality.
